I've always thought that concerts are one of the most interesting and fun things you can do in your life. Not only you go to watch a band, but you can also meet new people. On the other hand, you might also go to a concert of a band you don't know, either for curiosity or for an invitation of a friend or person you know. In any case, going to a concert or even a music festival should be an event that you CAN'T allow to miss, unless you have an issue with crowed places.
In my case, the time that I think is when I had the best concer experience of my life was about two years ago, at Lollapalooza's festival, witch has been an entire succes here in Chile since it's arrival. At first, the tickets were really cheap, even for the two days that lasted the festival, but they became more expensive every year. However, I found out a trick you can use to go without loosing much money. It's a little risky, but worth it! So If you really want to find out how is the experience of going to a Lollapalooza, you have to buy the tickets on the "Early Bird Sale", that means you have to buy the tickets withou knowing witch artist will come, you are buying your way in there blinded, that's the more economical way. Therefore, I did that since the version in 2012 to the one in 2015 and in this last one begins my story.
In 2015, Lollapalooza was a little weaker compared to previous years, but I went anyway with my two cousins. We had the tickets for both days, and everything was fine, not much excitement than usual, just okay. BUT THEN ... I saw him, the Robert Plant's show started at 8 pm in the VTR stage, right before the main show of that day. (The final artist on each stage was considered the main show of the day).
He was the vocalist of Led Zeppelin, an English hard rock band formed in London in 1968, the members were Jimmy Page (guitarrist), John Paul Jones (bassist and keyboardist), Robert Plant (singer), and John (drummer). They are considered as "one of the progenitor of the heavy metal", even when they style was influenced by many genres.
The reason why I think this is my best concert experience is because I was able to see the show of a rock legend . Even tho it was not Led Zeppelin itself, I had Robert Plant only a few meters away, representing all the legacy that the band left, and despite his age, I felt like in the 60's, with all kind of people around me, just sharing the moment. The atmosphere was so diverse,me and the crowd were just waving each other at the rhythm of the music. It felt magical...
